Our shipping containers are robust, watertight and windtight, providing safe and secure storage or for use as workshops, offices, accommodation, changing rooms and even in the construction of buildings as an alternative to traditional materials. Our steel containers are for sale or hire in a wide range of sizes, colours and configurations at short notice.

New shipping containers

Our new shipping containers for sale are manufactured using high quality Corten steel which is corrosion resistant and painted using a high quality shipping approved paint, designed to stand up to the most extreme rigours of sea conditions. Our new build shipping containers have a life-span under normal European weather conditions of at least 30 years.

Used shipping containers

Painting and servicing can prolong the life of a used shipping container. Like everything, if you periodically service your shipping container by checking door seals, inspecting moving parts and retouching areas of corrosion, it will last for many years.

What Health & Safety measures do you have in place?
Health and Safety is at the centre of everything we do at dainton and we can produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Lifting Plans prior to delivery of our units. Please note we will require at least five days’ notice for more detailed site-specific documents which may involve a site visit prior to delivery and incur a surcharge. Please ask a member of the team for more details.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! Dainton can deliver your portable buildings and shipping containers across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Wales with our lorry and crane transport service.
