Dainton plastic coated steel cabins are what many imagine when thinking of portable buildings or stand alone cabins. They are generally steel or timber-framed and ‘Plastisol’ clad, with steel external support legs (jack legs) to allow for levelling on uneven surfaces.
These portable ‘jack-legged’ cabins are designed for speed of installation and ease of relocation. They are hard wearing and low maintenance.
They make great spaces for so many different purposes from offices to meeting rooms, marketing suites to shops, site cabins to sports changing rooms, a plastic coated steel building is extremely versatile.
The days of cold, damp, dark buildings that were a little too far on the functional side and not a place you actually want to spend time in have gone.
All cabins include features such as UPVC windows, vinyl flooring, earthwool insulation and LED strip lights – but, really, the sky is the limit with what we can do with these buildings.
Standard units, in Goosewing grey, are 10ft wide and come in a range of lengths up to 48ft and we keep a large range in stock at any time so you get the best value and fastest delivery.
We also have a range of used plastic coated steel buildings to suit all budgets from fully refurbished to ‘need a bit of love’. Cabins can be installed on-site in just one day and can be used for a range of applications.
