  2. Wide range of containers available to suit your requirements (one size doesn’t fit all)
  3. Fast delivery
  4. Flexible short term or long term agreements
  5. Easy set up and friendly service.

What sizes do you have available?

Dainton has a range of storage and shipping containers including 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 20ft and 40ft. The most common size hired is a 20’ x 8’ and we can supply them with anti-condensation treatment depending on what you will be storing in the container.

Do I need a container with anti-condensation treatment?

If what you are storing is delicate, for example, the contents of your house or paper work, we do recommend one of our containers with anti-condensation treatment. Please ask one of our team for more information.

How do I go about hiring a container?

It is very easy. Either give us a call and talk to one of the team – we can tailor a quote to your exact requirements, or send us an enquiry and we will come back to you with a quote.

What happens next?

Once you accept our quotation, all you have to do is wait. We will need to talk to you about access for our lorry, there is no point in turning up if we can’t  deliver the container where you want it. However, there is no need for concern, we have been doing this for a long time so there are not too many places we can’t deliver one way or another. The driver will off load the container with his crane and make sure it is level and the doors open nice and easily.

How much does it cost to hire a shipping container?

Surprisingly not as much as you may think. Have a look at our guide prices below.

How quickly can I get one?

We aim to have a container delivered to you within 5 working days.

How does payment work for container hire?

We ask for the first 6 weeks hire in advance plus the delivery charge, this must be paid prior to delivery. Payment can be made by BACS or over the phone with a debit card. After that you will receive a monthly invoice for the rental of the container and we ask that a direct debit is set up for this if possible. Once you have finished with the container the final payment will include the collection charge which should be, unless there are changes,  the same as the delivery charge.

What do I do when I’ve finished with my container?

When you are finished with your container all you have to do is give us a call and let us know and we will arrange a date for the collection. We do ask that you give us a minimum of 7 days notice and ask you to settle your final bill which will include the collection charge. (Hire T&Cs)
